Everhearth
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
🚧 Early Alpha / Prototype — a very early, experimental prototype, not a finished game. Expect rough edges and features that shift between versions. More importantly: the core concept and even the way you play could still change. If that sounds appealing rather than off-putting, welcome aboard.
Everhearth is a village colony sim inspired by RimWorld and Songs of Syx, focused on the small, living rhythm of a settlement. Villagers aren't interchangeable workers — each has a permanent home, their own bed and bedtime. In the evening the village goes quiet window by window, not all at once.
What's already in the alpha
- Professions with real production chains — lumberjack, quarry, hunter, fisher, farmer, miller, baker.
- A forester who replants — wood is a loop, not a resource you strip-mine.
- Free-form building designer — paint the floor, place the doors, furnish the interior.
- Day/night with staggered sleep, home pantries, and warm window glow at dusk.
- Weather & temperature — rain waters crops, storms send everyone for shelter.
- World map mode with an AI neighbour city, economy, migrations and trade caravans.
- Wildlife with attitude, and a 30 Hz deterministic sim that runs with thousands of villagers.
What alpha means here
- A prototype for testing ideas, not a locked-in design — the core loop may change.
- Balance is rough, UI is functional-not-final, and some systems aren't in yet.
- Bugs happen. If you hit one, a report genuinely helps shape the game.
English and Polish support. Name your own price. Windows, macOS, Linux. No generative AI. Early alpha, actively developed — feedback is very welcome, especially the blunt kind!
